A visual journey through atmosphere, memory, movement, and the fading beauty of Havana.

Havana drew me in because it carried the emotional echo of my own childhood in Communist Poland. I wanted to be there at a moment when history, identity, and daily life were layered visibly in the streets — in faces, buildings, cars, colour, music, and movement.
The city felt suspended between past and future. Its streets were theatrical and deeply human: full of resilience, elegance, hardship, rhythm, and beauty. I photographed not only what Havana looked like, but what it felt like to move through it — the nostalgia, the warmth, the quiet dignity, and the sensation of time standing still.
This collection is about more than place. It is about memory, transition, and the stories that remain written into walls, gestures, doorways, and passing light.
